Preschool Director and Early Childhood Educator

Welcome! My name is Meg Connors and I am the director of Wee Explorers Preschool. I also work alongside Miss Jordan as an early childhood educator in our classroom. With over 25 years of experience in the field of education, I have had the privilege of teaching in a diverse array of school settings across the globe, including the United States, Germany and Botswana. I hold a Vermont teaching license in early childhood education, elementary education, and special education, but my passion lies in working with children ages 3-5 years old. There is something magical about experiencing the world through the eyes of a young child. This sense of wonder reminds me to approach each day with gratitude, curiosity, and an appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the world around us. Drawing from my personal experience as a parent, I deeply understand the value of community and family involvement in early childhood education. My own children attended a cooperative preschool and I am committed to learning and working alongside our families to make Wee Explorers Preschool the best it can be!

Early Childhood Educator

Hello! My name is Jordan Fagnant. I graduated from Lamoille Union High School in 2022 and since then, have been spending basically all of my time with kids. This past year, I was a co-teacher at Wee Explorers, working alongside our director, Miss Meg. I have been babysitting since I was 13 and spent a year working as a substitute in the preschool at Hyde Park Elementary. I love being around kids, especially at this age, they are so full of ideas and never fail to put a smile on my face. I also have 10 years of dance experience and I love sharing that with kids. I teach a weekly creative dance class for young children at Stowe Dance Academy. I think movement at this age is very important and I’ve never met a kid that doesn’t like to dance! Currently, I am working towards an early childhood degree through an Apprenticeship Program at CCV where I will be taking classes while getting first hand experience here at Wee Explorers.
